The siblings of Shri. Manohara U., Sr. Manger (Civil), Projects Department, Mangaluru and  Smt. Nayana, Master Sureen M. U.,  I PUC  student of St. Aloysius PU College and Master Javeen M.U., 7th Standard in Canara Higher Primary School, Urva have been selected to represent Karnataka State in their respective age groups in National Aquatic Championships which will be organized by School Games Federation of India at Vadodara .

Earlier Master Sureen M. U., had won 1 Gold and 2 Bronze medals in State level Pre- University board U-19 years Aquatic Championships which was held at Bengaluru on 5th November 2014, while his younger brother, Master Javeen M. U., bagged 2 Silver and 1 Bronze medals in State level U-14 years Aquatic Championship organized by The Department of Public Instruction at Bengaluru on 14th and 15th October 2014.

Ms Kavitha E, D/o Sri Eshwarappa B, Master Tech(M), Shops, Kudremukh and Smt Nethravathi has bagged two medals at the Annual Convocation-2014 of  M.P.Birla Institute of Management for her MBA, held at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Bangalore.

Sri  Pawan  JS S/o Sri Shivashankar J.N., Manager (Comml) and Smt Sumana SB, has secured the “Best Project Award” in Electronics and Communication Section at the State Level Competition held by  Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (IISc), on 28th and 29th July 2014 at BVBCE, Hubli  for his project titled “Unmanned Mobile Patrol Vehicle for Hoysala”. His project has been selected for the National level competition

Sri BM Laxmi Prasad S/o Smt Prema Madan, CMD Office and Sri ML Madan Kumar has made KIOCL family proud by securing 151st rank in the Civil Service exams. He was working as Sr Systems Software Engineer at R&D Division of Hewlett Packard. Presently he has been selected for Indian Police Services (IPS) and undergoing training at Sardar Vallabhabhai Patel National Police Academy at Hyderabad.

Kum Archana R Priyadarshini, D/o Smt Shailaja and Raviraja AGM (Stores) PP Unit, Managalur has secured a rank in Vidwat gread vocal examination conducted by K.S.E.E.B Bengaluru.  Out of the number of awards she received the notable ones are :

1. Kala Aparanji (National Award with Gold Medal)

2. The Rajyotsava Award

Master Vishnu S Bhat S/o Sri Sreeramesh C and Deepa Sreeramesh, Electrician-II, CPP Department of our Mangalore Unit has participated in National Level Open Karate Championship-2013 held at Moodbidri from 22nd November to 24th November and bagged II place in Karate(Kumite) and Third place in Kata Division below 10 years category.

Master Arjun, S/o Dattatrey AK, OCM I working in D Hirehal, has won the Gold medal in the KVS Regional Level Sports Meet 2015 held at Bengaluru recently in the event 'Shotput Throw in Under - 14 Category ' achieving a distance of 11.76m.

He has been selected for National Level meet to be held in Oct 2015 at New Delhi
